ACTIVITIES
NGO activities: ACCESS Development Services is responsible for providing specialized technical support services in the livelihood and microfinance sectors. ACCESS maintains innovative institutions to expand the Microfinance Resource Centers (MRCs) and ACCESS MicroFinance Alliance (AMFA) with a bundle of modules on governance, management, systems strengthening and business planning. Seven of these RCMs are currently operational across the country. At the national level, ACCESS is organizing the annual summit of Microfinance India which, among other things, helps to highlight the problems and challenges of the poorest countries. ACCESS highlights each year "Microfinance India's" State of the Sector "Report. ACCESS launched the livelihood livelihood platform and published a report entitled "State of Livelihoods in India - the 4 P Report". ACCESS's Sustainable Development Strategy focuses on composite livelihoods solutions and follows a sub-sector approach, working in value chains in these sub-sectors and aiming to strengthen clusters. ACCESS has 19 ongoing projects in various subsectors, with 34 partners supporting more than 60,000 households in 16 states in India. The sectors covered by ACCESS include agri-food, handicrafts, handicrafts, NTFPs and related activities.
